Founded in 1981 Alquip Industries, is a well-established provider of heavy-duty truck repair in the Vancouver area. A licensed inspection facility for class 8 trucks, buses and smaller trucks with 6 bays and many repeat clients, the company services independently owned and operated trucks as well larger fleets with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT and Paccar engines.
Cam Lennerton became a co-owner in the business in 1988 and bought out his retiring partner over time, becoming sole owner in 2015. Shortly after that, he started to look at structuring an exit for himself and his wife and contacted Marion Van Keken-Rietkerk at NAI Commercial.
100% of Alquip Diesel was sold in an all cash transaction. Cam and his wife are pleased to be free to retire, travel and spend more time with their dogs in a quieter part of BC.
The new owner is a great fit for the business and has maintained the high caliber of staff in order to continue the quality of service that Alquip’s customers have become accustomed to while looking for opportunities to streamline and grow the business.
Marion was the sell-side advisor to Alquip Industries and wishes Cam and Karen a happy retirement.
